Uhmwpe FiberNowadays as it's high molecular wight, high interlinking, high degree of orientation and high Crystallinity. It's tenacity is 15 times to high quality steel and 10 times to normal chemical fiber, This fiber also has the characteristics of low density, high modulus, UV resistance, corrosion resistance, outstanding anti-impact and anti-incision, etc.It also can be wildly used in national defence weaponry, such as light weight high performance Bulletproof Plate and bulletproof helmet, Soft Bulletproof Vest, anti-thrust vest. At present, there are only the DSM (Holland), HONEYWELL (U.S.A), SANSEI (Japan ) can produce this fiber and all of these three's yearly output were only 4500 tons. Since the 1990's, this fiber was stipulated by the Coordinating Committee about the blockage of the technics and technology, and the products couldn't be sold to the technics and technology,and the products couldn't be sold to the Socialism countries for national weaponry.
